Maine Coon presented in this photo:
MetatronEyes Jack Sparrow
Black cats are usually thought of as a bad omen; as something evil — yet as we all know, they are magically beautiful creatures with not a mean bone in their body.
This picture, however, perfectly showcases their dark and mysterious beauty.
It is one of our most difficult pictures of the project. It is extremely challenging to photograph a black cat in environmental photography, but even more difficult to make it blend in a dark location — to keep a texture in the surroundings, for there to be color contrast so it is not too bland.
We absolutely love the Maine Coon's pose, like he is walking through the rocks so fierce and yet so peacefully — so certain about himself. The light underneath him is like a spotlight coming through the small opening in the stormy clouds that form above him.
